The WET JET Tour
Our Wet Jet tour has allowed over 1.5 million guests to enjoy the power and beauty of Niagara's class V whitewater rapids. Experience the thrill of our Hamilton 360 turns, and the excitement of the class V rapids up close!
-You will be absolutely soaked, so please bring a full change of clothes (undergarments too!)
-Every seat on our Wet Jet vessel is a wet one - guaranteed!
-Passengers must be at least 44" (112cm) tall. This is your average 6-year-old.
-All passengers must be able to support their own weight with their arms while seated.
-You may bring glasses, sunglasses, a hat and a waterproof camera on board. Putting a camera in a plastic bag does not make it waterproof.
-We will provide all the necessary gear to keep you as comfortable as possible, including a certified life jacket. If you would like to wear your own shoes or sandals, please ensure that the sandals have a strap that wraps around the back of your ankle. As the weather dictates, we will also provide ponchos, splash suits, and sweaters. We have sizes to fit most people.
The FREEDOM BOAT Tour
The FREEDOM BOAT follows the exact same route as the Wet Jet tour but allows guests to experience the class V rapids with the option of either WET OR DRY seating!
DRY SEATS:
- You may bring a camera on board to take beautiful photos of the Niagara River and the Gorge!
- Our theatre-style tiered seating and panoramic domed glass allow all dry seating guests an unobstructed view throughout the tour
-Passengers must be at least 40" (102cm) tall for the dry seating. This is your average 4-year-old.
-All passengers must be able to support their own weight with their arms while seated.
WET SEATS:
-You will be absolutely soaked, so please bring a full change of clothes (undergarments too!)
-You may bring glasses, sunglasses, a hat and a waterproof camera on board. Putting a camera in a plastic bag does not make it waterproof.
-We will provide all the necessary gear to keep you as comfortable as possible, including a certified life jacket. -Passengers must be at least 100lbs and 12 years old for the wet seating.
-All passengers must be able to support their own weight with their arms while seated.
Things to note about all Whirlpool Jet Experiences:
-We do not reserve specific seats on any of our boats.
-You must arrive on-site at least 45 minutes prior to departure time.
-Anyone under the age of 16 must ride with an adult 18 or older.
-Expectant mothers are not permitted on our tour.
We do not recommend this tour for passengers with a history of heart, neck, back, or respiratory issues and anyone with signs of early-onset osteoporosis.
-Reservations are recommended and our tours depart rain or shine. We have never canceled a tour due to inclement weather.
